The Afinmore labradors live in a quiet hamlet near Lockerbie, South West Scotland. We are on top of a hill, making it a very rural, if somewhat breezy, place to live. We are surrounded by moorland and forests, making it ideal for walking and cycling with the dogs.
We are to be found at shows most weekends, much to the delight of the dogs attending and occasionally the dismay of the kids. We also help out on a local shoot during the winter.
I am a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder, having joined the scheme just after its inception. I am also a member of the Labrador Club of Scotland and the Labrador Retriever Club. All our dogs are health tested before breeding from them, and I take account of health, type and temperament when breeding. As nearly all our puppies go as family pets, our aim is to try to ensure that when they do go to their new families they go as happy, healthy, well socialised puppies.
